Regional Advocacy
An important component of my interest is reflected in the concept of “Bridging Communities”. I’m actively engaged with entities like the Millvale Bike Ped Committee, Etna Pedestrian Alliance, and Sharpsburg Neighborhood Organization.
That’s Thomas Hill Jr. with me during Bike to Work Day. Tom was an immense help to a much of the bike/ped work in Etna and Shaler.
Connected to Policymakers
I’ve created relationships with regional policymakers to ensure I have support to get Shaler Township the help to improve our community.
Lindsay Powell and I work together very well, and I count our new House Representative for the 21st district both a colleague and a friend. Anita Prizio, our representative on County Council (District 3), is very supportive of the type of work we’ve been doing in Walk Bike Shaler and walked with us in Homecoming parades.
It’s probably best to say that I like to work with others on projects and have a great track record with DAs and County Commissioners across Pennsylvania.
